• Bloody hell Hippy! Congrats. Good job on the multi tasking as well.

  • Well done Hippy, that is impressive.

  • Very impressive. Congrats!

  •
Especially Stuart Birnie winning with an incredible distance of 518 miles!

    Who? Never heard of him.
This.

My first thought: Yeah.... but how did Hippy do?

    Amazing work.

  • Congrats. 21.6mph over 24 hours is very impressive.

  • Amazing! Well done Aussie! :)

  • Truly amazing... Congratulations!

  • Hippy, you gotta do the RAAM, only you in the LFGSS' pathetic community can do this.

  • LFGSS' pathetic community

Please Ed, tell me what's so pathetic about this community? (apart from your shit advice that is)

  • Well done hippy - bloody impressive!

Time to take Gethin Butler's LeJog record now :-)

  • Well done Hippy, seriously impressive work. Good to see the training paid off

  • Congrats. 21.6mph over 24 hours is very impressive.

Holy crap. Impressive indeed!! Well done hippy!

  • Good work Hippy!

Wasn't the oldest rookie 38 in this years tdf? that still gives you a couple more years training before you swoop in for the win!

  • Jens Birnie has a ring to it, I think.

  • brilliant work hippy.... 518 miles
    truly awesome

  • Proper mental, well done you mad Aussie fool.

  • Congrats...now feel free to have a day off, some nice coffee maybe some no gel based food.

  • Awesome work Hippy!

Aside from helping a befuddled George Melly out of a pub, "knowing" you is my only claim to fame...

  • Thread ends?

    Holy crap mate. Well done.

  • As mentioned upthread, Chapeau does'nt do it justice, 51.8 back to back 10 mile TT's is a truly mind boggling effort.

The 'tell us about your weekend ride' thread just needs another one of your famously understated and brief comments like 'rode 518 miles on Sunday, was alright.', just to make the rest of look like we only ever ride to the off-licence and back.

Back next year? Now you have to defend it surely?

  • Not bad for a days work!

    Chapeau chap!

    i think you'll find it's actually 10.36 50km TT's back to back

  • My god... Hippy has a real name???

Came here to congratulate you dude! Nice job!

Does'nt sound quite so amazeballs though does it? In fact how are the balls, have they been crushed to dust? I'd be interested to know what saddle Hippy used for this, as one that you can sit on for 24 hours can't be bad.

Clearly these TT's are just too easy these days, they need a new measure, hows about a 1000 mile TT. Hippy only managed 0.518 of them, which on reflection counts as a DNF, must do better
