1st Handicap ;) may have been a little higher up the table but you get the point.
Just pb'd again tonight with a 23.42, no monies this time...Ah, I never got any money for pulling that kind of trick. Was it an Open?

Giro Advantage 2, 40% off from Planet X (thanks Sam!).
Had it sent to work so I'm going to have to ride it home at some stage... -
• #2355
I usually ride out in a normal helmet and switch.

Sorry Steve, should have introduced myself properly, seeing as I've only ever met you before when you've been marshalling at the HoA and I've shouted and waved as I've gone past!
25.55 for me. I can't grumble with that, have done no riding the past 6 weeks or so. Ended up riding all the way home as the trains were screwed, there were literally hundreds of bats flying up and down the Pilgrims Way. A lovely way to end the evening, me in dead quite country lanes with lots of wildlife :0)

Nice seeing Sam, 6pt, Laner and Fixedwheelnut before the start. Tried my best, but not got my legs from last year yet - [ame]http://connect.garmin.com/activity/181361959[/ame]

It was. they don't stump up cash monies for club 10's do they?
-
• #2360
No, that's my point. I only rode a couple of opens when my times were slow enough for me to get some money out of them :)
-
• #2361
You could ask them to flatten the out leg?
I'd greatly appreciate this.
-
• #2362
I will be wearing slevs.
Is this some kind of triathlete slang?

Maybe you could go shit for a few seasons, then come back like pow

Nah, I prefer to be mediocre all the time.
Leave the money for the new starters.
-
• #2365
Almost. In that it is non-triathlete slang.
Tester slang?

• #2366
somewhere along the line a few of us started caling triathetes 'slevless'. because they tend to do without sleeves.
Tiswas is one of this dirty breed, but will in an act of unexpected normality, be wearing sleeves. -
• #2367
(he doesn't have the guns for slevless)
-
• #2368
what's iain's excuse then?
-
• #2369
I thought tri guys and big guns went hand in hand.

Well it is a triathlon. Wouldn't want to mess with his swim now.

TTs on a closed circuit might be slower but they're safer and more pleasant that dual-carriageway out and backs.
The reason I won't be taking it up - not that that's any loss to TT but I hate being on busy or fast roads on a bike.
-
• #2374
You don't cycle in or around London then I take it?
-
• #2375
Ha. I quite enjoy cycling on fast roads, but then I seem to lack the fear of being obliterated by a large, fast moving vehicle.
oops just bought a pointy helmet.
