  • In actual TT chat: entered the High Wycombe Good Friday 10. Anyone else? I'd assume Ed?

Did a spoco 18 at the weekend, pretty happy with how it went.

  • Yeah, I think when they were talking about it I wasn't concerned because I always go back for cake, err, I mean to return my number anyway.

  • Can't, going back into the wind tunnel that weekend with my new 5cm superman position...

  • High Wycombe Good Friday 10. Anyone else?

    My dad :)

  • Tester's dad's called Gene?

  • Yep will be there, even started training last night!

  • Thing is CTT don't need to prove your breaking 3cm. They just tell you to prove you're not. If a photo looks like you might be, they write you to and you say no I'm not and they say prove it.

But still, if you're breaking a rule, you deserve a punishment. Do the from, do the time.

  • Based on CTT CSI analysis, is this mid-pack chopper ok for the rule?

  • Stuck an entry in. I can ride out from home, which I like doing. So might as well race.

  • There really is a distinct lack of 100 mi TT's. For those with a desire to inflict prolonged pain.
I want to race one, but cannot find a date that works.

I might stick an entry in for the ECCA and Nat 100. And hope I've some legs.

  • All long distance TTing is now banned.

  • People are just too lazy.

  • Yep - Newbury 12hr is my warmup for the National!

  • Fuck knows!

And that's my issue with the rule.

  • I can shop you, if you want to find out? ;)

  • Ha ha.

  • Is that sexy euphemism? If so, we can take this to PM

  • If you're still in E7, I'm driving up as I got a spot in the MG event.

  • Well CTT might bend you over, if you're unlucky.

  • In E17, so just up the road - that would be grand if you've the space. The TTF hive mind seems to think that as 8th reserve I should have a decent chance of a ride.

I'm going to try and get into the R25 on the bank holiday, which means cancelling my places at events near London both days. How do I do this on the CTT website? Haven't been accepted yet, but would like my money back..

  • How do I do this on the CTT website?

Doesn't seem to be a way, best to contact the event secretary directly to withdraw your entry.

  • is this mid-pack chopper ok for the rule?

Based on that blurry low-res image, my screen ruler says 37mm, which is not definitely over 3cm given the likely error bands. If I had the camera file, I might be more confident about the actual number, but I wouldn't want to initiate proceedings even if I thought it was 95% certain to be between 32mm and 42mm. As event secretary presented with a protest, that would fall into my "No Further Action" band, but I would tell the rider that a protest had been received and that another judge on another day might take things further if he continued to use the same position. Under CTT procedural rules, that would be an informal notice to the rider, not a reprimand. The district committee would have a right to over-rule the event secretary if they took a different view.

  • Just been told how: "Go to your dashboard and select My Events, look for the event and click on Receipt. It then gives you a Withdraw option which you select. "
