Made the mistake of doing an athlete's 10 having not trained for 6 weeks tonight.
Does anyone know where I can get some 35cm drops? If I'm going to do silly road bike time trials I may as well do them properly.

Pro PLT Compact now comes in 36cm http://www.sigmasport.co.uk/item/Pro/PLT-Compact-Handlebar/4PJW
Zipp Service Course SL also comes in 36cm e.g. http://www.ribblecycles.co.uk/zipp-service-course-sl-80-bars-polished-black-36cm-zipp-zipp/
For 35cm, you're probably looking at Nitto. Look do their sprint bar in 35cm, but I don't think it can take brake levers (also, it's about £300)

was weirdly on the Giro website last night wondering when this might come out!

That looks like one of the rebel helmets from Star Wars.

yeah, its pretty crazy looking, i thought a £300 helmet was ridiculous, but for the fast version you need to spank £600, that would make for an expensive crash!

Looks utterly wank without the visor - Check out some pics from the Giro TT stage.

i do like the idea of the magnets for surprise shit weather, although i've seen a lot of kask visors by the side of the road!!!

Uvex Race 4 & Race 6 lids are (at RRP) even more expensive.

Thanks, just have to decide between those and a slightly riskier but £5 cheaper pair of Maes 35cm...

Ah.
thought it would be afternoon like the rest, shame.

Lets hope the TTF mob don't kick off about Dowsett riding in a ECCA event again.
-
• #12944
To be fair, I think it was only one TTF fruitcake lowering the signal to noise ratio even lower than is usual on TTF.
My start time's over an hour ahead of Mr. Dowsett's so I'm reasonably confident I can stay ahead of him. Then again, I am doing the F14/25 the afternoon before. And it is very early in the morning, and I'm not an early morning person at the best of times. So you never know.

Stick a Go Pro on just in case!

But it's not aero. Oh, the horror...
-
• #12948
surely a man of your prestigious engineering talent can solve that problem.
or just bung it under the saddle...
-
• #12949
Why can't he ride ECCA events? Doesn't he live out there, so is probably a club member?
-
• #12950
He does, I think he has a link with the Chelmer .
East London clubs look forward to him entering an event.
Met Office says small hurricane.
