  • Boxers are a funny breed, many amongst the most selfish, arrogant, delusional, twats you're ever likely to meet.

    Just talking about the mindset.

  • Talk about "rocky"....!

No defence, not needed! Proper good tear up....

That's the thing, defence is the most important part of winning. The trick is to hit and not get hit - as all the greats did before their decline started.

I remember watching Tyson starting to take blows after he'd wiped out the entire heavyweight division. It took a year or so but he was fucked by the time he met Douglas - a relative journeyman in comparison to Tyson.

  • Hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha!

David Price, twatted in the first fight, duffed up again in the rematch he so desperately wanted! Career over @ 30yo now....fuck me, who's he gonna fight next, Aud The Fraud?! Maloney's a little shyster too...

Anyway, any cunt that comes out to YNWA needs a good hiding!

    #tysonfurynext

  • Isn't David Haye due to fight Tyson Fury at some point?

  • Yep

  • Poor Maloney crying.

Tony Thompson had a good interview post fight!

  • Darren Barker, a British Middle Weight became a Champ on Saturday. Very good fight too with an Australian called Daniel Geale.

If you like boxing, then this is a good fight to watch.

Wait a few secs, click pass ad or whatever and enjoy.

  • I like Darren Barker, a deserving champ

  • Good guy. Apparently he stopped two guys beating up one. However those 2 had 8 more friends and beat him up unconsciously. I think it was at a pub watching a football game or something.

  • Mayweather vs Canelo Alvarez this Sat!

  • Indeed. Canelo gonna lose IMHO, Floyds looking very motivated

  • Rubbish

It's all about Haye v Fury on the 28th

  • Maybe Fury will hopefully just piss off when Haye wins on 28th.

  • Canelo and Mayweather will showcase top level skills in defense and offense. Canelo has a great defense which some people fail to realise but also counters and attacks extremely accurately and fast. He's a big lad, young at 23 but having to go down to 152 lbs as opposed to the weight limit of 154 usually, his stamina may be a big issue.

Mayweather obviously has a great defense with his unreal natural athleticism; reflexes, speed in hand and feet and stamina. He has pin point accuracy and can tag you and get out. Purists love him, but many hate him and I can see why. He can be vulgar!
Now is Canelo going to be too big and strong?

I wouldn't bet against Floyd, but do feel if Canelo physically isn't going to suffer too much from making weight, he has a chance! A good one.

Haye or Fury will be a tough one. I believe Haye can KO Fury within 5, but also see it as a 12 round decision if it's very quiet. If Fury gets rough and dirty, and Haye gets tired, then I really believe Fury can stop Haye or win. Fury is a massive guy and his promoter I believe is arranging things. Boxing is a dirty sport at the best of times so you never know if the ref and judges will favour Fury in some way such and holding and pushing. Haye has the speed and power, but Fury has the size which Haye does find difficult.

Matthyse-Danny Garcia undercard on May-Canelo will be a guaranteed banger. Trust me do not miss it!

    I am excited.

  • Tonight is the night! I am excited! It's a bit of a niche sport so none of my friends care

  • Looking forward to it, I kinda want Mayweather to win but at the same time lose too.....

I think it'll be close but this might be his biggest challenge to date!

  • Easiest money Mayweather ever made.

  • Erm.. The judge that gave the score card a draw was not looking at ring. Cos minus first second and 9th (if memory serves me correct) he was getting caught out and made to look wild. Gutted i missed the garcia fight...

  • Same judge who gave bradley the nod over pacquiao. Some seriously bribery going on there IMHO

  • I though Canelo would have gave him a lot more problems, after his KO of Trout he looked amazing but last night he was disappointing. Glad to see Mayweather win tho but who next?

    Garcia maybe?!

  • Probably will be Garcia, he will get annihilated in my opinion. Perhaps Khan too if he can get past Devon Alexander, which I doubt he will do, Devon has solid skills.

  • Apparently amir kahn.for promotional ($$$$$) reasons not for fighting ability because he's not EVEN close to his level. Rumours are that he wants to have a london fight (wembley) but that would just be so embarrassing for Kahn. I'd like to see Marquez v Mayweather. Won't happen i dont think.

Garcia is the only guy left to challenge imo and bradley (if he can get past Marquez)

  • There is no way in hell Garcia can challenge Floyd. He is way too slow and despite having reasonable power, it wouldn't be enough to worry Floyd. I would bet my house on Floyd winning that one by a landslide.

Bradley would be more interesting because of his conditioning, but again I don't think he is on that level, plus he is an avid Floyd fan, he is starstruck by the guy already.

Funnily enough I reckon Khan could cause Floyd some problems early in the fight due to his hand speed and combinations, much like Zab Judah did. Problem with Khan though is he is reckless and has a glass jaw. Floyd would ko him eventually but I do think Khan would land some good punches on him before that.

That pretty much leaves no one with a recognisable name that could challenge him really. He has cleared out his division and the one below and above him. He will probably retire undefeated unless he does something stupid like move up to 160 and fight Andre Ward.

  • I'd like to see Marquez v Mayweather. Won't happen i dont think.

They already fought 4 or 5 years ago. It was a shut out.
