At least he moves his head a bit these days.

Wasn't overly impressed by Eubank Jr last night. Williams won too many of the later rounds.
-
• #1729
Yeah. There was a lot of showboating, not a lot of boxing after the knock downs
-
• #1730
I thought Eubank looked good but he’s what 32 now? And he’s never really fought anyone of note, so what will he really be remembered for?
-
• #1731
His dad?

Khan and Brook make weight. All feels a bit odd.

Final pay day
-
• #1734
Mixed feelings about Brook stepping in a ring after those eye injuries.
-
• #1735
Yeah. Brook is bookies favourite.
Back when it would have been more interesting I think Brook would have won comfortably.
I think it could be a bit of a lottery with whoever wins, their fans proclaiming it would have always been that way. -
• #1736
I predict a hard scrap, and a rematch. I think Brook wins but I’m not confident.

Go on the Kell
-
• #1738
Had money on Kell to stop it in 6 - so all went well for me. Battered him
-
• #1739
that decision (in the taylor catterall fight) is actually embarrassing
-
• #1740
Yeah just came to say the same thing - utterly baffling. Catterall must be distraught
-
• #1741
There's been far too many dodgy scorecards in UK fights in recent years.
-
• #1742
Argh the scoring is not Josh's fault but I wish he had been more magnanimous and put his hands up at least a little bit. Looks really bad.

Is Sunday night the new Saturday night?
I've just renewed my DAZN subscription -

Latest statement is more gracious.
This made me laugh; BBC source;
But BBBoC general secretary Robert Smith was "very surprised" at the scoring from judge Ian John-Lewis.
John-Lewis will be called to explain why he gave it to Taylor by 114-111.
The other two judges marked the contest closer, with Howard Foster going for Catteral by 113-112 and Victor Laughlin giving it to Taylor by 113-112

Total joke if you ask me;

I watched the early rounds back and had them closer than on the night. need to rewatch the full thing
saw canelo speaking about GGG III. had that fight been made ?!
-
• #1747
Down graded but so what difference does that really make. Everyone knows his score card was iffy and he's done this 3-4 times before. Catterall doesn't even maintain mandatory challenger for any vacant title if Taylor moves up. I'm a massive Taylor fan but this leaves a nasty taste in the mouth

The thing that’s always struck me is how poor a view judges get. They are almost too close.
The scoring system itself is terrible, you can legitimately loose more of the fight and still win on the score cards fairly.
It’s a joke that his was one round different and his was bad and the others fine. -

Eddie Hall was a great strongman but he is not a great boxer

Didn’t understand why Benn was fighting Van Heerden and after watching it you have to wonder. Just seems to be sort of wasting his time without a clear fighter progression.
Looks like Spence v Crawford for a unification fight - so maybe Benn is waiting on the outcome of that..
Benn looked good last night. Took control from the very start, impressive stoppage. Seems to have improved a lot lately!
