Just the QR uplift thingy middleofnowhere posted the link to.
I have this exact combination and it's amazing. You can fit so much stuff in there (underfill is rarely a problem for me...).
Ah i misunderstood the previous comment!
Thanks, now for payday...

I have a nelson longflap and use the QR system that includes a nifty little strap for carrying the bag when it’s not on the bike.
However, I’d kind of like to get a shoulder strap so that I can carry the bag more comfortably, as with the current strap I have to hold it in my hand and that means the strap digs into my (poor delicate little) hands, or I drape it around my wrist and then my (pathetic weak) wrist starts to hurt.
Despite actually having a qualification in sewing, my sewing is absolutely abysmal so I can’t fashion a strap myself. I’d like something that could be tucked away when the bag’s on the bike so there’s less chance of strap-related injuries.
Does anyone know of anything that fits the bill?

Have been thinking the same thing, need to find somewhere that sells 25mm webbing and bits like that and rig something up.

Other solution is to just leave the saddlebag on the bicycle all the time (I use zip-tie to tighten the strap frimly on the saddle loop) and use a smaller bag that you can carry every now and then.

I had a saddlebag stolen this year despite vast quantities of zip ties :(
I'm going on holiday with the bag and I want to be able to take it off and carry it when I stop places.

When purchased a Carradice, one must dug a hole in their garden, buried their saddlebag in it after rubbing wax all over, leave it for a period of 2 months and volia, you get a nicely matured saddlebag that doesn't look let alone stare at to get stolen.
If your saddlebag look too new, you're doing it wrong.

My old was seriously old and looked like crap. I left it on the bike for less than hour and when I returned it was gone. I was livid! And sad :(

I tied a piece of inner tube around two of the metal clips on the flap of my Carradice. Comfy handle.

I've got a Camper Longflap and use an old Lowe Pro camera bag strap which will take a bit of weight - just the job for collecting assorted road kill (they were dead when I found them officer), camera + lenses, scrumped fruit etc. How I love that bag.

You could do a longer one as a shoulder strap, but I find this fine for as much as I can fit in there.

A friend and I both have a Camper Longflap, and both lovingly made by Debby! Moving up into second position. Gwan Debby!
