When i read 'chipped' I imagined cosmetic damage......then i looked at the photos and realised that by 'chipped' what you really mean is 'its got a fucking massive hole in it'.....

How about just standing in front of a bus with you bike over your head? Probably got less chance of dying doing that...

Hi, i have brought back from holiday a set of brand new White aerospokes, unfortunately on the plane (front wheel) one of the spokes got damaged. resulting a small chip out of one of the spokes. i have tried riding it back and forward to university this past week and it rides amazingly. also it is still perfectly true. i have covered the chip in white electrical tape so that no water enters the spoke.
as this wheel is brand new, the hubs are extremely smooth and so the wheel spins very fast and silently.
as you probably know an aerospoke normally costs around £280 plus shipping and import tax. i'm looking for around £200.
thanks.
