I am so chuffed that Dustin and the crew won. I was in Greggs Cycles just over a week ago, before they all set off to Philly, and Dustin was as cool as ice, but you could just tell that they were aiming for the win. Congrats!

well its more than a few lines on a forum, but essentially it was one top quality goal after the other, the team play and the shots were a step above, pretty jaw dropping really, its not that its out of reach for us just very very fast. both finals were 5/4 and lasted about 45 minutes each. it was also 5 freewheels vs seabass on fixed and he stays in goal a lot, so the fluidity of the play was very different from the mix we have, even aidan just said: "i want a freewheel now"
:) see you soon, dave can carry the chocalate, my bag is fuck heavy already.

Faceless Emotion is Doug D, Paul, and Zach Trackstar from NYC. They were good. They played without a keeper. So did Ballz Deep (East Van). That's what made their game in the semi-finals so awesome.
The best teams there are better than the Euros in part because they have been playing longer, in particular, many of these teams have played together as teams in tournies for 2-4 years, and sometimes more. They are fast, but when it comes down to it, I think they just have a bit higher skill than the Euros. Their ball handling and passing is just amazing. And their positioning on the court.

Let me point out that estelle and i were already using gold paint on our bikes and mallets in the Shoredich Tournament last year or 2 years ago ( all blends into one now) It's not like you guys invented the wheel. Or gold paint ;)
