My friend and I are in Bournemouth and was wondering if any of you guys organised routes during the day or something or to be able to join a community! Wev' been looking for one in the area and just saw this thread!

Are they the chaps who push their bikes up Richmond Hill?

thinking of setting up a boscombe and bournemouth based alleycat, would people be interested and does anyone here have much experience organising/taking part in alleycats before? please let me know, cheers

well the pace should be pretty quick through Boscombe for obvious reasons.

Depends on the time of day and if you time it to coincide with the crack heads' siestas.

i would be interested in this and hey i have to ride through boscombe everyday!

I lived in Boscombe and had absolutely no problems the whole time I was there, on my bike or in general. Went for my first ride since moving back to Bournemouth, rode down the road I used to live on and a car nearly took me out pulling out of a side street and some shitfaced dickhead threw an empty can at me because I nearly hit his dog as he stepped out Ito the road without looking! All within about 50 metres. Glad it wasn't my first experience of the place!

If I can do it shitfaced at 4am after a 17 hour work day anyone can, ha ha. (Not that I'd ever drink at work.....)
