Tom - lets do it :) A 10k spin is nothing. Us South Londoners have to travel more than that every time we play North or Brick Lane.
Bagsy a bed!

I think there is no shortage of beds in that place!

Two thirds of NS is down for this.
We'll be down with getting flat sharing too.We also need a player, who will be appointed using an interview+tryout basis.
No Lockett, you cannot put your name down, you are not NS material.

• #56
True, Lockett helped us beat NS.

But then apologised to us. This is not the NS way. -

I need two team mates.
Not super competitive ones who may get frustrated with me though. Any WAGs going? :) -

anyone costed this up yet?started looking at costs :
train: london -> Newhaven = £27.50 (return)
ferry: newhaven -> dieppe = £35 (return)
train: Dieppe -> Rouen = 15 Euros (return)then on top of that we need to add whatever the place we stay at will cost, as well as food / drink
-
• #66
Group travel could reduce those costs ^
-
• #67
How about getting the bikes there ?
Worth hiring a van ?
-
• #68
Bikes go nicely on trains and boats.
And if the numbers were expecting actually go, it would be more like a bus.
-
• #69
bikes are free on the newhaven to dieppe ferry, done it loads of times.
-
• #70
and of course the trains in france are bike friendly as opposed to what our trains offer.
-
• #71
Sweet, that keeps the cost down nicely.
I'm definitely up for this
-
• #72
I got a quote of 44 quid for 2 adults w/bikes return on the dieppe ferry, leaving friday returning monday.
-
• #73
My quote was £56 for 2 adults + bikes return. There is also a £10 offer on the website, but I didn't have a proper look.
-
• #74
Same days, Hops? Maybe there is a discount for coming back on Monday?
