PC-1s are rubbish. They oxidise the moment they're touched by human skin.
Sheldon Brown can wank on about chainsaw oil until the worms have picked his bones clean. Euro pros and they're mechanics have known for years that spunk is the magic lubricant, but have kept this knowledge closely guarded. When commentators talk about 'spunky riders', they're talking about the ones with very wet-lubed chains.
Jism has a high zinc content, and this provides a corrosion-resistant coating to links, roller, and pins of the chain. It reduces friction more than silicone based lubes, and Eddy Merckx's mechanic, when faced with particularly wet and muddy conditions for that week's Spring Classic, would often inform Eddy that it was a day for 'sloppy seconds'.
Izumi chains were originally manufactured by Pearl Izumi, but the company worried that the overt sexual slang in the brand name would 'let the spunk out the bag'.

BMMF, I can't believe you dissed Sheldon's chain cleaning technique. I swear by the following method. I wonder if the OP has tried it?

Change the chain quickly. If the rust is allowed to advance then you may need a whole new chainset. Do this quickly or it may spread to the BB and then onto the BB shell. At that point you're looking at a new frame. You may be able to salvage the tyres and any mirrors you have attached to the handlebars.

My tyres get flat after a month or so. Should i pump them up? Help?

Just buy some new ones. And pick up some extra air from a petrol station.

yeah that air's too expensive for me. I'm using that cheap air-like stuff they use to keep the passengers alive on long flights.

You can get bulk air cheap on ebay. They send it in big boxes so you'll need a special adapter for your pump to get it into your tyres.

I lick my chain clean after each ride in the rain.

I'm not entirly convinced theres a chain under that shitty rust thats pulling my rear wheel around.
if the OP is referring to a Sram PC-1 - I had to buy one of these in an emergency and it had bright orange rust patches all over it within a month, and also squealed like a wounded pig. All this despite some hefty lube action.
Never had a problem with KMCs before or since...
