Remember reading this article almost a decade ago. Guy certainly had a colourful life (& lots of cocaine I suspect).
That quite the life story!

Norman Bright, local cycling enthusiast here in Hackney and race promoter for as long as I can remember. He used to put on Eastern Counties events and I raced many times in them. A regular visitor here at Two Wheels Good until covid, he passed away on June 6th aged 85, following the sudden return of leukaemia, which he fought off a few years ago. He was still riding regularly and took part in the National Track championships a few years ago, and won his class.
He’ll be much missed by all of us, and many more.
RIP Norman.

RIP Norman. I met him a couple of times at public meetings around the Eastway, I think, but in the sense of being in the same room together as opposed to being introduced. A great guy by all accounts, who I'm sure will leave a lot of people scrabbling to pick up where he left off.

Sebastian Eubank (30) boxer and son of Chris Eubank. He became a father himself a month ago which only adds to the tragedy. Reports are that he drowned in Dubai.
