Don't think they enjoyed much success here as they did in the US but Play Deep is, to my mind, one of the best pop albums of the 1980s.

Frank Bough, BBC presenter of grandstand for goodness knows how long but was sacked following a drugs and brothel scandal in 1988.

I don’t know who pulled out the “its a top and bottom affair” quote from thousands of hours of his commentary for the BBC tribute but kudos.

Radio Four segued from a story about the trafficking of Romanian women to the UK to be forced into prostitution straight into reporting Frank Bough’s death.

Radio 4 also said he had misused drugs when it seems more like he used them exactly as one should - off your tits whilst being spanked by toms.
