In 1983 I saw the Balham Alligators play at the Latchmere in Battersea with Dr John playing the piano... It wasn't a big deal or anything, he was just sitting in with them, no one seemed that bothered... He looked rather scruffy, if I'm honest, maybe it was around the time he was cleaning up...
