I had the pleasure of having dinner on Christmas Eve once with him and his wife in Mallorca. Lovely, lovely people. They both were fascinating company.

RIP Howard.

I met him a couple of times when I lived in Leeds and worked in nightclubs up there. He always had time for people, no matter how off their tits they were and was always good for a few great stories after hours.
