Jeremy Lloyd was a proper dude. I loved Captain Beaky growing up (google it, kids) and grew to love Allo Allo and Are You Being Served.
I spoke to him a couple of years ago and he was looking to get a new 911 as the one he was driving 'wasn't quite fast enough'. He was 81 at the time.
He also boffed Joanna Lumley in the 70s.
