he was a Lord, David is a Sir.
but a big rip. losing his daughter and granddaughter (and the daughter's mother in law) in the tsunami definitely took its toll.

Lifetime of achievement. Biggest of which, of course, was founding Jurassic Park.

A big loss of one of the film greats. Fantastic actor and an excellent director. His performance in relatively minor films such as Seance On a Wet Afternoon is an object lesson.

Alfredo Martini - contemporary of Coppi and Bartali and long time manager of the Italian team at the World Championships. A true gentleman.

Jimi Jamison - no longer a Survivor.

Giovanni Pinarello - wearer of the black jersey (for finishing last in the Giro) in the 1950s, who used the money he earned from it to found his bike company.

That is sad.
