Of course they do. There was probably an office sweep on whether they get to use it before their David Attenborough one.

Writing obituaries for the not-yet-dead is the equivalent of doing documentation in-between projects.

Re. William Friedkin, To Live And Die In LA is on Film 4 this Saturday night.

He got on well enough with Bette Davis, Ingrid Bergmann, Gloria Swanson etc - you know, real stars with something interesting to say.

There was also a pretty awkward interview with Helen Mirren.

And was Emu male or female, because there was definitely some friction there?

Next door neighbour and buddy, Maurice Murray Haylet. Self-taught genius soundman for the Canterbury scene. Lived and toured with Soft Machine and Caravan, subject of this banger: https://youtu.be/VkcIskPXTIs
Toured with Grateful Dead and countless other 60s and 70s greats. He went on to be the in-house engineer at The Astoria and was a big part of the early Acid House and rave scene. To me he was the funny grumpy kind old “roadie” neighbour who had a connection and a solution for everything. I heard so many hilarious stories at his wake (which went on till 5am). Amazing dude. Farewell Maurice.
