What about other young shooting stars, like Boasson Hagen, with the Sky team, which places great emphasis on being clean?
Talk is cheap.
Some teams are genuinely transparent, other teams claim transparency yet do not demonstrate it.

That Valverde is still allowed to race is a stain on the sport. What a cluster fuck. He's guilty as charged yet the Spanish Cycling Federation just sit on their hands. The UCI should have ejected them as soon as they refused to open a disciplinary case against him. It's almost comedic that Basso and Scarponi were caught in the same doping affair, charged by the Italian Federation, banned for two years and have both been back for the best part of 18 months yet Valv.Piti is still racing, winning and earning millions of Euros for victories that stink.

FTFY. It all makes sense now. ;)

I've a nasty feeling about Sagan I'm afraid. I hope I'm wrong but he's just a bit too good to be true.
Yup, I agree. Tiago Machado of RadioShit is another that catches the eye.

I've got a technical question for those in the know. As a new SKY customer, with Eurosport, do i have to pay an additional fee to watch Eurosport online? I've had the eurosport player on my iphone for when the World Track Champs was on on, but again, i had to pay a fee. As a home user, surely it should be free!?
-
• #792
That's not how it works I'm afraid. You need to pay the subscription for the online service, regardless of whether you already subscribe at home for the TV service.

Also, I suppose, worth cross-posting in RPM's long-term doping thread.
Gerdemann said he is willing to placed under surveillance for not only the Tour de France, but also a period prior to the race.

RPM is involved in long-term doping? That explains a lot.

anyone know what happened to Wiggins in the Giro?
-
• #798
He finished today. What do you mean?
-
• #799
Today he was sat on Cadel's wheel with about 3km to go but got dropped and ended 30+ sec back from Maglia Rosa group I think.
Earlier in the week he lost 4 minutes when one of his teammates crashed and took out the whole Sky squad and half the peloton.

In other news, Ben Swift has won the Tour de Picardie.

Curiously, he's not an Aussie, but hey, you can't have everything.
This is significant, because he isn't involved in one doping scandal.
