What? Szmyd hit the wall on the last corner, Valverde then slowed after the corner to let him pass after helping him up the climb.

Szmyd stalled, then Valverde stalled, then Szmyd passed, then Valverde chased and failed to catch the jumping Szmyd. If he was gifting him the win, why slow for Szmyd and then try to chase him down?

Watch it again, Valverde only sped up so not to lose any more time after holding back for Szmyd. I fucking wouldn't either if the GC depended on it.

It's not on Eurosport. I saw the last km of yesterday's stage on a stream from Luxembourg TV but that's all I've found so far.

There are a few feeds on cyclingfans.com. I haven't watched any of it yet, though, as I haven't had time. The TdS clearly has a much lower profile than the DL.

No, this spelling is correct wherever you are. It's just that in the German-speaking part of Switzerland and in the Italian-speaking part of Switzerland there might be names for the race in German or Italian, respectively. It's not a question of spelling, but of different languages that might be used to refer to it.
