There was an interesting looking doco on french tv with some guy travelling from Toulouse perhaps down through Spain, then Africa to the bottom.
I watched it even though I don't speak any French. It was quite cool. Be nice if I could find all the episodes with English subtitles.
Here:
L'afrique A VÉLo
"Pedalling across Africa and meeting people along the way is the challenge Virgile Charlot set out to tackle. This young man left his native Jura to cover 20,000 kilometres by bike to travel to the farthest reaches of the continent. A unique human adventure of its kind. Directed by: Virgile Charlot (France, 2013)" -

Everyone should see this, the best cycling documentary I've seen. Such drama, much wow. It's in (Flemish) Dutch & French alas, but if anyone here is handy with subtitling software tools I will be happy to translate the entire thing to English

Ain't nobody got time for dat.
Agent sub's just a text file with timcodes? That's how I've seen some torrent films work.

^Or you can click the subtitles box in the bottom right corner?
Edit - doesn't translate the bits that have native subs -

A lot of you will already have seen this no doubt, but BBC2 Scotland will be showing a programme on Audax on 9th December ( I think it will be available online too)

Just in case anyone hasn't noticed, The Accidental Death of a Cyclist, the Pantani film is now available on Netflix.
Film's decent enough, but not outstanding, but it's always good to see the old footage and it's gotten me fired up for next year's pro season again.

If anyone's at home, there's a discussion on The Wright Stuff (C5) regarding licences and tests for cyclists shortly.
I'll probably post this in the Cycle Campaigning thread.
