  • Excellent.

  • Any highlights programmes? I'll happily follow the tour live on the grauniad feed but quite like to actually see what happened in the evening after work.

Actually, any suggestions on the best way to (surreptitiously) follow the tour in the modern office environment?

    Any recommended live blogs?

  • ^ There are highlights shows every evening too.

I've found twitter a good way to follow live racing as you get updates faster and from multiple viewpoints rather than something like Cyclingnews feeds.

  • Something on RAAM on Discovery now.

Edit: seems to be just one guys attempt at it.

  • Jeez the guy got hit by a truck. It's James Cracknell.

  • Dark stuff. Wasn't aware of this story.
    Old thread here:

  • Starts at 8PM. Can't believe you can't buy it on DVD, but ITV4 plays it just like that.

  • Thank god for Sky+, it overlaps with the new series of Torchwood

  • pissed i missed it. is it up on the ITV player?

  • Thank god for Sky+, it overlaps with the new series of Torchwood

    haha

  • being replayed on Sunday ITV4 i do believe

  • eeeeeexcellent. thanks bdw. hopefully i'll remember to record it.

  • it's on the ITV player. quality's not great but... that's my evening sorted.

  • its bloomin' good

  • I thought it was a bit shit really.

  • ^agreed

somewhat interesting in parts but very underwhelming

  • It was OK, just a bit overdramatic and cheesy in places... A little over-egged possibly but I wouldn't say it was shit...

  • Agree with TS - the music was a bit... emotive. Overall very good I thought.

You can watch it here :) - http://www.itv.com/itvplayer/video/?Filter=255649

  • it wasn't great i agree, but i thought it was still well worth watching for the sort of shots, details and access you don't on regular coverage. for someone like me who follows pro cycling enthusiastically but not obsessively it was great to get that bit more behind the scenes insight without paying for "specialist" (arf) dvds. i was just happy it was on telly and the itv player. hopefully if it gets good viewing figures it'll encourage itv to screen a few more docs or features in this vein.

  • I liked it. Could have done without the little kid on the bike at the start/end though - if you're going to do that you may as well go the whole hog and have a guy in a stripy shirt, beret and string of onions around his neck. Even my wife sat through most of it...

  • clearly shot in someones back yard in west london too ^

  • In the States actually
