Not great photography and needs cranks but I am happy.

• #657
Why would you need cranks on a Dyson?

Looks nice, Columbus forks aren't half as bad I thought they would look built up.
-
• #660
Half as bad? Tommmmmm and I think they look sweet. Clearance is still aiighhttt
-
• #661
It's a saying, they suit the build well.
Have you thought about setting it up like Dammit's 'dale with both lever operating the brake? -
• #662
The fork clearance is just right for that frame, will be perfect for those long rides!
-
• #663
Not sure I see the benefit Indra, I've only ever ridden drop bars with the right lever being operational so no big to me.
Exactly rogeyrogan. Canny wait to ride!

Just one of those silly little things I'm OCD about.

Yeah, I like tusks on a pre cursa. Always want to get some tusk straight for mine, but they're really a bit too expensive for the frame.
-
• #666
Do those precursas hve a slightly sloping tt?
-
• #667
That looks tidy JB. Is that a 54?
-
• #668
Ta chris, it is a 54, yes.
-
• #669
Slightly slack chain but otherwise it's done.
-

What's the rake on that fork? Trial fitted a wheel with my Alpinas today and clearance looks about the same.
-
• #671
Yeah it's surprisingly tight. Rake is 45mm. Guessing its still tight purely because of the head tube angle. I didn't experience any toe overlap or anything like that when I took it for a ride. And it has 32c tyres.
It is fast, very fast. The fastest bike I've owned in fact (doesn't day much) even with 32s.
When I can afford it I will get some archetypes laced to halos and run 25c tyres.

This is likely to be your lightest bike, why not get a really good lightweight wheelset to match it?
i.e. American Classic rear track hubs (24h) and front road hubs (Pro-Lite Como Front Hub 20h) laced to Velocity A23 would be very light in comparison to a typical fixed wheelset, maybe around 1200-1300g altogether compared to a typical 1800-2000g fixie skidder wheelset.
With heavy component on mine, it's end up 8.5kg, reckon with your, around 8kg or under.
By the way, think your saddle may need to be moved back a bit.
