Might want to add another link to the chain there. Looks like it'd be a faff to remove the wheel.

Just snapped a photo outside work before I locked it up. i got myself the toughest lock Brixton cycles had to offer for when I'm out but this ones living inside the flat from now on

That's on the list of things to sort out.
I pretty much threw it together the other night out of excitement.
It Still needs a couple of tweaks to make it perfect (for me) but it's already so much fun.

Just got a replacement frame, a TC1 for my cracked old TC, much thanks to @timbre but noticed a dent on the right chainstay when i got home;
Should i hassle dolan about it and try get a replacement for a replacement? or just suck it up and try sell it as it is for a low(er) price, tbh idek how much it'll be worth now

Factory tube forming, not a dent. Same sort of thing appears on a lot of alu frames to aid clearance for gears, disc rotors and whatever.
Mine & girlfriend's Pre Cursas have them, but my Track Champion and Pursuit Champion don't.
Most likely same tube used on a different frame, for a different manufacturer, requiring more drive-side clearance.
TC1 stays aren't as sculpted as those on Track/Pursuit Champion; probably a bit cheaper to make. -

Don't worry about it, its a normal thing.
PC's also have it, it's something like a huuuge cog clearance. -
• #2785
Ah brilliant! Totally shat bricks for about 10 minutes, makes sense as the chainstay tube goes completely flat after the "indent", thanks for clearing it up man!
@DrEscroto thank you aswell, I should've known, having had 3 dolan frames before but no pre cursa.

Wrong colours arrived yesterday for the forks. I decided what the heck and just sanded them down roughly and painted them the way I would anyway to get a feel of what I'm after. Here's the result. Thoughts? Red to Pink? The red was supposed to be pink and the orange is the wrong shade but you get the idea.

That looks pretty good with the carbon on the inside!

built this up over the weekeend
FXE rather than precursa, but not a huge difference other than fork and fittings

Looks great. Autumnally appropriate!
Generally, I'm not a fan of the appearance of 12k carbon weave, but it works well on the inside of the fork leg because it's more noticeable. Nice job!
I like the colour choice also. Although, thinking maybe non-fluoro fades are best-suited to matte black frames, whereas fluoro colours would look better on a stripped/polished frames... Forgive me if the paint is fluoroscent... In the past I've taken photos of things that are neon, but appear to be non-neon on the photo. -

You've inspired me to try something similar on my gf's bike...
Maybe sky blue-pink fade, metallic or with sparkle, and a white pinstripe between paint and carbon, to pick out the stock frame decals?
Like copying one half of Rudy's DSC fork, but with some visible carbon. -
• #2792
That would be ace, especially the white pinstripe, but that will be difficult too. You'll need the colour to start where the white ends, if it overlaps or doesn't touch it looks bad.
-
• #2793
Maybe spray white primer under where the colour and pinstripe will go, and just mask the pinstripe/carbon when applying the colour. Then re-mask to boost the pinstripe with some proper white paint, although, under a few coats of lacquer, the primer along might be decent enough.

Gotta be careful which kind of lacquer is used with fluo paints, so will be a fun project :-)

Yep, sounds like it should work

I´m very happy with my Dolan after a couple months of ownership. The track geometry is a bit too radical for commuting, a bit like commuting on a Porsche 911 gt2 I guess, hehe, what else can you ask for just 99 pounds!! Very happy. I plan no more upgrades, maybe just a more expensive lock, I don't wanna loose this baby.

Squeezed some 28mm Gravel Kings onto my PC this weekend, oh the sweet sweet comfort.

I got into a bit of a skirmish with a set of railings the other morning and experienced the extreme discomfort of the PC TT colliding with my soft bits.
