Dolan Pre Cursa / PreCursa / Track Champion

Mmm... I'll properly measure my current workhorse and see how it compares.

I'm 6 foot tall and had a size 58 pre cursa. I with the stem slammed it felt a little low but otherwise it was fine. I tend to always use a layback seatpost so had one on it.

Precursa just ordered in a 58.

Also ordered a 16t dura ace sprocket to go with my 42t sug. messenger crankset, which will work for the road. Question is whether there's enough clearance / length in the dropouts to cope with the chain length required to run a 13t for track visits with that 42 as well.

Anyone running their rear wheel right at the front of the dropouts with a 23 / 700c wheel or doing anything similar?

Does anybody who owns a Track Champion got the measurement from the bottom bracket to the floor? I've heard they have a high BB height presumably with it being a track frame.

does anybody know if there is room for 25mm tires on the track champion?

on the rear? yep if you set the wheel further back on the track end.

I got a 60cm precursa frameset that I'm going to strip the paint off when I finish college (paint and decals a mess on purchase) Thinking about setting it up as a low pro....anyone had experience / seen one set up with 700/650 wheels?

Anyone know the stand over height of the Dolan Kadet compared to the 45 cm Pre Cursa?

is it possible to removel the dolan decals of the pre cursa model?

not really, you'd be better off just covering them with black electrical tape or something. :)

you can buy them without decals from the Dolan ebay shop.
