Anyone out tonight? I can make it if it's a late one?
-
• #128
I can't make it out tonight, and as the last 3 weeks has been super quiet due to excess polo & excess revision i'm thinking about changing to just going out riding as and when people can be bothered, or just trying to organize a monthly session instead possibly...?
`Whatcha think to that....?

Whenever, I'm free after the 10th for whatever happens. It'll pick up again after exams/when I buy some risers. Then get ready for TRICKOCALYPSE! That's decidedly hard to pronounce...

NO fuck that, it should be weekly, as well as just as an when people can be bothered. It'll pick up again after exams don't you worry.

I've been wanting to get down for a few weeks but work has been daft busy. I could sure as hell use a bit of advice on technique!! Do you tend to stay near the skate park for a while or are there a few other spots I should check if I'm running late?? 6pm is a bit tight for me to make most weeks.

If you check here for whoever is going to go down, then grab their numbers from the Number thread in the private bit and ring up later if you can't get down.
I'll PM you mine the next time we head out if I'm going too!

Nice on Morgan. I'm in freewheel mode at the moment after stripping my hub last weekend :-( but Charge have promised they'll have the new hub with Evans ASAP (they sent the wrong one this week) and I'm taking the hit on a new OpenPro as Evans are doing the build foc. Just trying to decide on a new cog and lockring to go with it.. Andel cog and lockring on a Charge(formula??) hub?? I dunno.. to many shinny bits to chose from!

I've probably spoken to you this week at some point, I seem to have covered most of the staff now sorting this jeffin hub out. Richard seems to have it in hand now so fingers crossed I'll back on a fixed cog for next weekend. I was in this evening picking it up so I could at least ride on the freewheel.

Anyone? Even just for a ride about rather than a trick-out?
-
• #141
mate, i would but i'm going to end up single if i'm out everynight! Maybe have it every month...and if people wanna go every week then it's all good - but aim for a big turn out once everymonth.
As soon as the polo euro's are finished i'll be up for it alot more.

That's fine, I know some of you have lives. I, sadly, do not, so I'm going for a ride.
Anyone out and about - zero seven nine six two, one seven five, three nine nine.

Hello all you Manu. Tricksters. Myself and 6 others are coming up to Manchester tomorrow from London. We are all into tricks and are hoping to hook up with some of you boys to check out your city. We are then off to Leeds on Sunday for the tricks comp and event that they are hosting. If any of you guys are up for a ride with us please let me know. See you guys tomorrow.

Think you'll be checkin out MCR in it's customary rainyness... just started raining now, not sure how many people are about, polo's been taking up a lot of peoples time recently.... and a few are at work... what time you thinking of being here/riding...? I'll hook up with you for a bit of a ride and show you around...
-
• #145
I'd be up for having a roll around, no worries. It'll be nice to ride in a pack, I haven't been out with people for ages!

Should arrive in Manchester around noon. I will be bringing my son along as well, he is 11 years old and he is really into his tricks, so some random trick spots will make us lot happy.

That'll be awesome Johnny, I haven't seen you in ages man!
I'll be rolling around Picadilly at noon-ish, if anyone else is in the area m'numbers in the Numbers thread.First stop Urbis? It's a good enough spot and central enough to start in...

Might make the effort and come over later. I'm just stoked to ride this weekend - can't wait for tomorrow!
Wish the bloody rain would go away though... Any decent covered spots around for today? -
• #150
This is the problem, we never did find any really good under cover spots to ride when the weather was shit... There's the bit behind the skate park under the flyover and another bit by the uni but thats quite a quick bust... Other than that it's multistorey car parks and most of them will be busy/a bust today.... Anyone got any other ideas? Cos at the mo i don't think the rains gonna shift today.... Fucker...!
i would be up for coming out for a bit too but again wouldnt be till after 7, finishing making a bad ass wheel cover at the mo,
