500,000 posts...

We're about 8 or 9 days away from the milestone I think. Which will mean that in less than 2 years we've gone from nowt to enormous. We now get something like 2,000+ posts a day, and I can't keep the hell up... but by jove it's funny at times.

I guess I'm feeling the bromance. I love this place. Even though at times a few people can be utter tits. Still... tweed, how fabulous. Makes it all worth it.

Anyhow, I plan to commemorate the occasion by actually getting down to Westie drinks on the 5th February. This itself is an event, so I hope a few of you will join me for an excuse to get pissed.

Basically, I'm proposing a week long set of celebrations through encouraging you all to get down to your local drinks during the first week of Feb. NEW MEMBERS WELCOME!

Hey VB - there was a thread you started in the helpand testing area AgES ago showing grpahs of statistics for the forum - like number of members etc.

Any chance of some updates?

Yep come up to North drinks. Even if its just for the ride up there. Quite a good turn up there now ( from what I understand - as last weeks was my first visit in a few months )

I would like to come to Wests one day, especially in the summer as the pub looks great.
Its just that Thursday night is now my designated night of the week for getting trolleyed. I am in a poker league in my local pub, its very competitive and if I miss just one week, I will find myself slipping down the league. But I will try and get there one Thursday

Ah, that's out of date since with Vanilla it auto-updated, but with vBulletin it doesn't. Those charts were basically an add-on for Vanilla.

I'll see if I can find something that does similar here.

Day peaks are just under 10,000 visitors per day.

The other shows an all-time analytics thing with weekly breakdown.

Week peaks are just shy of 600,000 page views per week.

And... the stats are indicators only. They do not reflect users who use adblock & have blocked Google Analytics, mobile users, people with funny browsers (lynx users!) and stuff like that.

The troughs in the all-time stats are: Christmas '07 and Christmas '08... and the one inbetween was moving servers and software.

Yes there is a decline in interest from Sweden. Action needs to be taken!

interestingly (from those stats) we have a 400% increase on new unique visits but the average time spent on site has dropped by 10%. i wonder what it sees as active time? if you leave the browser open but in the background is the connection still in place?
