  • Nick do you have a digital back for your mamiya?

  • grabbed stills from video look shit, it's the equivalent of a 2mpixel camera with lots of depth of field and high noise levels in the shadows.
it's only your wedding so do you think it's worth saving some cash and not bothering with a proper photographer? :-)

    that sounds wrong

  • I think the uploader applied a little automatic sharpening so they look a little jaggedy on the screen, and too much compression also, as lightroom does all that already, but it gives you an idea anyway......

  • maybe I should have said shots lol.....

  • i have a friend who does wedding videos, not what you asked for but better !!! imho
high def top of the range camera
stills would be easy to lift from the video and you'll have action / voices and the full monty
hippy slurring " i love you " to murtle "you're my best mate you are " where else could you get that in digital format for prosperity ( well apart from west drinks every thurs )
see ray in full digital glory chatting up the best man

High Def is the equivalent to around 2 megapixels when it comes to still images. The quality of HD is actually not as good as a high end digital camera.

I wish. Nah I use it to shoot film. I shoot all my digital stuff on various Nikon cameras

  • Nikon ftw, I use nikon also, best handling and ergonomics of any decent slr out there IMO :)

  • and they bounce especially my new one, but they dont like swimming in sewers :(

  • yeah my d300's are tough as nails! I fell on one whilst snowboarding at 25ish mph whilst trying to shoot my friend for a laugh, covered it in snow, and it takes it all in its stride lol. I love how the new grips for these are all metal as well, instead of shitty plastic like they used to be on my old d200.

  • Congrats Murts, nice one dude! :]
