That Verdant is bloody lovely

I'm excited.

The Step Up I had last night was pretty good.

had a Buxton Storm Shadow last night, tasty, but pretty pokey!
I am not new to imperial stouts, but this was a bit more than I was expecting.
Almost could have done with a smaller can.

^ Pet hate of mine, especially in these times where I'm drinking solo (or with mates on Zoom; either way I'm not going to be able to split a can.) Bring back nip bottles I say!

Most of today's haul. The stash of imperial stouts is growing... Also, I'd not realised that Abbeydale were doing the honeycomb and chocolate stout in two strengths, so I picked up the Indulgence version at 5.8%, and a bottle of Tynt Meadow for good measure.

Nice haul. I’m a big fan of both Brass Castle and First Chop, but hard to find down here.

I had an Oakham Citra this evening after a long run, and I have to say it really hit the spot; a change from all the silly pastry/imperial stouts I've been drinking recently. When all the current unpleasantness is over I can't wait to go back to a pub and just spend an afternoon sat with a book, a packet of crisps, and a couple of pints of session bitter.

Abbeydale mixed case of gluten free is a discovery I'm waiting to purchase.

Citrus and Ultra Pale.
