It's one of the lower abv beers I've had recently but I appreciated the difference haha.

I swapped the paracetamol with another can of Patron's Project DDH IPA.

Didn't wait.
Had a Deep Sea Dating. Very tasty. Good stout with a little salty hint throughout.
Tastes boozier than the 6%, when it's not chilled. -

It's finally here. Was actually meant to be going to Belgium this weekend so I'll just pretend in the garden instead.

Mine too. APC apparently tried to deliver twice but couldn't be arsed to put a card through the door either time.
So... Two to drink now, two to lay down for a couple more years.

Four to drink now.

Not right now. Two for a 'special occasion', two for my pension.
I don't know if people actually pay this much for their older Vintage or Reserve but it might be worth sitting on them for a bit.

Look for the 'Sold' ones. But keeping a bottle of beer around just in the hope of making money off it isn't why I buy beer*.
My growler(ish) arrived. I'd got 4 pints of hazy but I guess they ran out so I ended up with two pints of the hazy, 2 pints of pale and two cans of IPA as an apology.
Also, got a thankyou card and freebie from Perivale Brewery for being their 100th online order, which is quite nice.
*it's why I buy whisky ;)

Edit. That didn't work as I thought it would...

I've got some that are nominally worth £150 or so (2006, 2008, 2010?), but as hippy says it's finding someone willing to pay that, and I laid them down to eventually drink. I'd actually planned a vertical tasting with mates in early March; as a group we reckoned we had bottles covering the last 15 years. Under the present circs I might just crack some of the duplicate bottles I've got...

To be honest I'm going to look at these like the Orval case's I buy every year or any other ale that will properly bottle condition.
Have one or two, hide them away, get smugly drunk at some point in the future.

I watched that and didn't get it and then you removed it so now I'm not even sure I watched it.

It was about 'have you seen my Growler' but wrong video...

Ah, ok. I thought you were maybe having a go at me for 'advertising' Perivale or something. But I didn't think it enough to post about it. Just went down the street to get beer snacks assuming it was a 'you had to be there' joke.

It was actually his Lorraine character:

Happy to help. ;)
I did watch a bit of Bo Selecta at some point in my past but didn't really get it then. It was on some kind of best uk comedy show recently and I remembered bits of it, Craig David and the bear.

Ename! God, I miss that. Lovely beer.

• #8697
It was of it's time.
Only problem is I can't say 'Craig David' without actually saying 'Craiggggg Daviddddd' now.

Can i retire yet?
Yeah, so long as you die within a week of retirement you should be set.
