Best logo and smell by far, apparently very bland to drink and a disappointment in that respect

I've a bottle of the Portent Usher ready for 25th as a warm up to the Imperial Rain Shadow.
Getting regular Rain Shadow withdrawal symptoms, roll on payday...

I got my left and right mixed up before, now edited...!
Tried the Pit and Pendulum(?) last night. Interesting but only a couple of sips so hard to make a judgement on it. Will try and pick up another bottle this week...

I quite like some of the Mad Hatter brewery beers, where'd they get picked up from? I know they're based in Liverpool.
Tzatziki sour is weird in a good way!

I'm in Manchester so got them from bottle shop here. Their tap room (if it's still there) is pretty good if you end up in Liverpool.

It'll be worth doing that for sure, I actually forgot about mine for a good few years and it was well worth it.

Mad Hatter have just had a massive upgrade to their brew kit and are now in a huge building so I'm sure they will have a new tap room soon and you'll get more of their beers coming down here.

If you like old fashioneds and strong Rye beers get hold of Brooklyn's Improved Old Fashioned. Bloody tasty.

Trying to find it...

Pit and Pendulum
Bottle now 'cellared' for 25th or after.
Also a selection of cans. The EGIPA tastes a bit specialbrewish from can as opposed to my memory of when bottled.

I tried a can last night and I'd agree it wasn't as good.
I am on the russian imperial stout, it's a very flat pour, quite pleasant but tastebuds probably semi frozen after today's hobble up to Kinder in the wind...

Have found the Brooklyn beer in Ireland but it'll cost you fucking 18 euros to get it shipped

The Mermaid in Clapton have it. Good new pub from (I think) the people behind The Old Kings Head on Bethnal Green Road.

Up there at Xmas, I saw they have a new tap room opening on the 10th!

Rainbow project draw is tonight, rumour is the country is Belgium
There will be 2 colours assigned to each pairing. One will be to make a beer for next year and the other will be to make a beer and barrel age it for 2018.

Been working my way through these I got from Beergium last week, planned to save them for Christmas (yeah right, the whole order isn't pictured as I had already been drinking it!). I was working all weekend which slowed me down a bit. Loving the Omnipolli Pales, and Mikkellers Belgian Triple was great.
Great service from Beergium, really quick, well packaged and loads of free stuff in be box. Will definitely use again.

Marks and Spencer have expanded their range in bigger stores; Omission gluten free beers, Westmalle Dubbel, Nogne O Saison, Yeastie Boys Pot Kettle Black and some Hitachinos spotted at lunchtime.

My too-good-for-me missus got most of those for me last time she was in MarkyMarksandSpencers. I don't remember a Westmalle though so will have to have words with her about this failure and how she is expected to perform in the current beer environment.

I work a few mins walk from it, trick is to walk along Wigmore Street and use the side/back entrance that goes straight down to the food bit

My trick is to order online and never set foot near the place. ;)
Beer tasting/bottle share at work yesterday. Quality wasn't great this time round, far too many generic beers. Using an undocumentable system they were (controversially) ranked worst to best...
