It is.
Three of them already.
Only one 'real' one however.

Found a stash of beers in my lounge I'd forgotten about.
Did you unsubscribe from your lounge?

I 'muted' it by covering it with cardboard wheel boxes.

Anyone know anything about Polish beer. I picked these up at a polish deli in east Acton. The shoo person said they are craft polish beer unavailable apart from a couple of specialist polish shops. Cracked open the Kozlak. 6.5% dark malty bitter sweetness. Not bad for £1.99

Sixpoint Resin - double IPA at 9.1% is £2.99 in spoons and they can do takeaway now.

Anyone know anything about Polish beer.
It's probably highly risky to post this just as hippy resubscribes, as I suspect he knows too much. :)

Yes, I've consumed many of them.
"Jankes" = Yankies = USA style
Kozlak I've had before but that bottle looks different to the one I've had:

Yes, it's by Browar Amber who do loads of 'craft' type beers.

I think its a Ruby beer.
The shop has quite a range of 'craft' and bottle conditioned (sedimented) beers. I'll try more and report. No cheap tyskie-type cans there and excellent polish bread selection... 100% rye bread with plums is my fave -

I've only really had the Polish beers that you normally get in local shops in the UK and I like most of those, although I suspect they're all fairly generic mainstream lagers.
Otherwise, I'd expect Polish brewing to be much of the same quality as in Germany, the Czech Republic, and Slovakia, as that's definitely a shared patrimony between these countries.
I should probably visit a Polish shop at some point and try to get some more unusual ones.

There's quite a variable selection in west London's Polski Skleps - guess it depends what they find and throw in the vans. I remember Stratford's European shops had a good few too. There's a few new craft beer bars popped up in Krakow last time I was there.

This shop is on Old Oak Common Lane. Worth a visit not just for the beer...

Cheers, both. We have a few round here, as well. I'm sure I would have 'accidentally' picked up beer on a visit, but when I've tried them in the past I've found very little vegan food there, so I don't normally go to them. I hardly ever drink beer at home, anyway.

9 days no boozing folks?
Blackjack with Thornbridge, Jaffa Chocolate Orange Milk Stout.
Puddingy.

At Tapfest (Fat Cat Brewery Tap, Norwich). Tried a few new to me IPAs. Windswept, lovely example of an APA, complex malty tangy. Siren Broken Dream, 6.7% breakfast stout, gorgeous milk chocolate and slight smoke. About to wash it down with Castle Rock Guns of Navarone (10.3%). Absolutely brutal, like a fruit punch with extra punch in the face.

Sadly all the Cloudwater has gone.
Edit: Except the DIPA v6. Score

Ha. More like 9 days solid drinking, not been sober enough to post.
Stand outs last night De Kaizer Blue, Quintraceratops and a black Italian IPA with a sheep in a vader helmet...

Went to the Rainbow Project bash at Beavertown. Very well organised, all drinks were included in your ticket price so no faffing at the bar. Didn't queue once.
Most of the Rainbow Beers are great especially the Burning Sky one and the Magic Rock one. The Siren Banana Coffee Stout thing is an abomination and the Partizan barleywine needs longer in the bottle, it's a bit harsh.
Managed to chat to Logan from Beavertown, he's a lovely man.

Light weekend...
Northern Monk Communion - nice, easy drinking
Evil Twin Retro IPA - yuck, would rather lick pennies off the floor, couldn't finish it
I made it out sober and even rode past SBBD without buying anything.
