  • I've got a 2014 Maiden. Just hide it away and forget about it.

  • It calls to me!
My wife found it under the stairs and asked me if I knew it was there???

  • Drinking the latest grisette by brew by numbers (17 04 melon and Nelson) Bloody beautiful, could easily smash through a lot of these whilst pottering in the garden.

  • Sourced Market Wigmore Street have Burning Sky down for a meet the brewer on 26th. Book a table for 4 or more and get a free growler to drink.

@stevo_com me and @OneLessCardigan are going if you fancy joining us?

  • Fuck, that sounds wicked but I will be in Sri Lanka that week. Thanks for the offer though. Definitely up for that kind of thing in future.

  • ah no worries, next time

Had the Beavertown/Heretic collab Peacher Man Wit last night, didn't go much on it, wasn't very peachy.

  • Had the Naylors Toffee Mild several times last night.

It's good. So much toffee smell and taste. Going to have it again tonight while it's still on!

  • Anyone else using the Beer52 service? I took them up on a limited offer so I get 10 bottles a month for £24 which is a reasonable price, on balance, and I'd be unlikely to try or get hold of such a variety otherwise. Some fairly standard things like Vedett but more unusual stuff from home and away too. Wild Beer Millionaire and To Øl Fuck Art - This is Architecture were a couple of highlights

Obligatory £12 off a crate and free beer for me with this link

  • On which note there's a bottle of Brewdog Imperial IPA waiting for me at home which is going to go down a treat after 9 hours of trains and cycling

  • I do. Good selection of beer I've always found.

  • My mate gets beer52 and hates stouts so saves them for me. I've approved of the selection so far.

  • Damn it! I'm on call this week. :(

  • Marble Ibuki’s Beer - nice, lot of fruit and citrus

  • Just had a pint in Bullfinch brewery in HH. Seemed quite nice but more expensive than Canopy. I had a pint of Rascal session ipa, which was tasty. Reminiscent of Neck Oil. Good.

  • Kernel Mosaic Simcoe IPA tonight, very easy drinking.

  • So much for not selling it on after getting it from monks.

  • Bdsb flight night...

  • What pub near Camden/Kentish town does good scotch eggs?
I'm looking for crispy outside and still runny yolk, with a nice pint.
Bonus points for a pint with a handle.

  • Southampton Arms in Kentish Town will tick all your boxes.

  • Yeah, but its always so fucking crowded, and last time I was in there the scotch eggs were veggie ones with falafel instead of meat.

  • Reminder there is a Burning Sky meet the brewer event at Sourced Market on Wigmore Street tonight. Me, Simon, Laner and Rich Cupcakes are going so come join us if you fancy it.

I had the Saison a la Provision at the weekend and it's tasting right lovely.

  • I tried a few of these and I really liked, but I'm not an expert, maybe some of you can say more.

  • I like old engine oil, they also do a chilli version which is nice. Ola Dubh is their barrel aged stronger version of old engine oil and is bloody delicious.

  • The Ola Dubh looks very attractive, I'll check Kris Wines in York Way for a quick grab, if not the bloody internet.

  • +1 ola dubh - lush
