Had a great time in Belgium
Beery highlights: Jack's Precious IPA by Brouwerij the Muskateers, first proper american style juicy banger IPA I've had from a Belgian brewery. Tried a few last year and they were a horrible mish mash of hops and Belgian yeast.
Pannepot 2012 reserva from De Struise - lovely thick and fruity strong dark ale, managed to get the 2009 barrel aged version in a shop in Ypres to take home
Ename - Pater produced by local brewery Roman, is a lower alcohol version of the abbey blond they make. Really zesty and refreshing.
Drinking a Westveleteren up the top of the Paterberg on E3 Herelbeke day.
Going to Beirhalle Deconinck - if you are in the Oudenaarde area go. It has over 1400 beers in stock, we got there just as they were closing for lunch but they took pity on us and let us look around and buy. Thankfully I had a list of what I wanted so didn't take up too much of their time. They also gave me a free bottle opener and much stronger bags to use.
Beery lowlights- coming across a bottle of Cantillon Fou Foune in a beer shop only to see they are charging 65 euros!

Found plenty of decent craft beer places on a recent trip and managed to drag the other half in on promises that she'd get sangria and paella later. Wanted to make a trip Edge but didn't make it

Available in 'we brought beer' in Balham for the incredible price of £8.80 - I liked it so much I bought a shed load from Hop Hideout. It's 11.4% so I'm glad it's pricey otherwise I'd drink it all day...

^^^ @Kat_Balou it is the Magic Rock one, would love to try it.
Took a ride up the river this afternoon before the rains came to check out the brewery and pick up some cans, it's a great set up and well worth a visit.
