Couple of Peroni at work, some rum, now a couple of By The Horns bottles, just to make room in the fridge of course.

Just popped into the Nisa corner shop at Hither Green on an ice cube mission and they've got a startling selection of Brewdog, Brooklyn, Sierra Nevada, Goose Island and a selection of other "not your usual cornershop" beers in.

Have been educating my student cousin in beer. Gave her some Jester King Black Metal Farmhouse Imperial Stout last night. My uncle found out how strong it was and would only let her have one glass. Bitch please, this girl sessions on tequila when you're not around at uni.
Today the education will continue with a Brewdog Paradox Heaven Hill and a Siren Mrs Brown. Uncle will be told they are 5%.
I'm having Mikeller's chardonnay barrel Nelson for Christmas dinner, champagne can get tae fook.

I had dead pony club for breakfast as it's below 4% so a soft drink.

Started the morning with De Struisse Black Albert (once Id got rid of the champagne), the same as every Christmas morning for the last few years. Had a Double Mountain Hop Lava northwest IPA which was a new brewery to me. Spent £70 in the local craft beer shop yesterday so I'm going to be pretty set for the next couple of days, the half gallon of Odells St Lupulus got me off to a pretty good start last night

I have just cracked open a Brooklyn Sorachi Ace I have been keeping, very nice indeed. I haven't actually had anything by Buxton, I really need to.
Had a few pints of Hackney's Smoked Red Rye this afternoon which was decent!

Hercule Stout didn't quite live up to the hype. It's good if subtle tastes but really lacking the heavy body that a 9% Stout deserves.

Just opened the only cold beer, Brouwerij Kees Just another IPA. I'd somehow overlooked that it was a Belgian IPA in the shop and now I'm thoroughly disappointed. It's only that there's nothing else cold stopping it from going down the drain.
Ah but look at what's happening.
Another 'share' release and they are shouting about just how independent they are.
Sounds to me like a perfect way to up the value of the company to enable top dollar prices when they get bought.
You heard it here first! ;)
