Interesting. @Kat_Balou thanks for bring Psy to the conversation. These things look a bit like Keykegs. I know a home fewer who used a Keykeg to serve homebrew in his own bar. I'll have to take a look at these PubKegs.

Not sure about the Bless, been a few years since I've been (probably enjoying some sort of buy 2 JD and coke get 2 free deal). Always on at the Exeter Arms, Greyhound and The Dolphin though.

I'm having a McEwan's Champion. £1.50 for 500ml at 7.3% in Tesco. Decent, but there are better Scottish ales / heavies.

Also cracked open a clone of Brodie's Dalston Black IPA which was brewed several months ago. It has improved. Tastes lovely (dare I say it, better than their current version).

Payday, the No More Bright Ideas is interesting. Lots and of deep dark flavours happening.

Worst hangover thread `>>>>>

Made Christmas cake today using Rodenbach Grand Cru. Going to feed it a bit of it each week which means I have the thankless task of drinking the rest of the bottle every time. Oh no.

Brasserie Des Rocs - Triple Imperial Ale - a little bland and maybe a touch fizzy for a Belgian dark ale...

Struisse - Pannepost Grand Reserva 2010 - very tasty, will buy again

Both check in at 10%, maybe a little much for a Sunday but wanted to make up having the choice of Stella, Stella or more Stella last night...

Weird Beard are having an open day on December the 13th (I think). It's a Sunday. I should be there. Can't remember who in this thread is actually in a London though.

Tried the latest Born To Die in Brewdog earlier. Man, that's a seriously good beer. The aroma is heavy with blackcurrant and it tastes great for the strength. Need to check what hops were in it.

Ha, Blue Note, back when they had the podiums to the side of the DJ booth, death trap metal flooring and you could get JD and Coke by the pint! Good times!

To ol advent calendar all set up. Now just have to be patient and wait two weeks.

Buxton's Double Axe is very nice.

Checked out a few places in Leeds last night. Evil twin & Lervig collaboration was definitely the weirdest, 17.5% imperial stout brewed with frozen pizza and money

Popped into Good Taste in Westow Hill today. Great shop with a brilliant selection of beer and cheese. They've got some good Northern Monk stuff in and a lot of Siren. Most of their beers are Dutch or Belgian.

I had the Tsujigiri this eve, first pour was lovely but despite being v.gentle with the bottle the sediment went crazy and the second (thankfully smaller) pour has been undrinkable. Recommend a pint glass and one gentle pour.

Turns out Good Taste charged me for something I didn't buy. Have offered a refund or to give me the thing I didn't buy (Gipsy Hill's 6 o'clock swill) plus the Horal Megablend oude geuze. Defo going for the latter. Would check receipts again.
