  • Finished with Ellenbergs Ale No. 1 - enjoyed it.

  • Anyone here into Brodies ales?

Their IPAs are pretty incredible. Hooligan juice, mind.

  • Want to see if I can get hold of some of this, although it's unlikely.

  • just picked up a van load of innis and gunn from the bottle o for tonight, rum one looks promising,

  • The rum one is lovely, they all are.

  • New offy near me:

Showed restraint and brought just the 4 home:

Didn't check % in shop but they're all 7-9% range, if they measure up to the Imperial Russian Stout I had at new year they'll be fantastic.

  • Anyone else go to the Kernel tap takeover?

Like everyone in Manchester, I'm off to Chorlton when I stop being poor.

    Where was this on?

I live about five mins walk from the brewery so have made a bad habit of going there on a Saturday morning (with a baby) to have some food and a glass or two to get the day going. It would be nice to have the same selection they have on tap available somewhere else that was open not in the middle of the day, i.e. normal evening pub hours.

  • Brewdog Shep. It was a one-off.

  • Brewdog Shep. It was a one-off.

Damn. I heard that Cafe Oto had Kernel beer at half price recently. Lovely stuff.

I'm off to Brew Dog Shepherds Bush later.

  • online shop here I come

  • Ive sunk several cant remember what but they were low abv so thats ok on a work night
    #summer #blondes

  • did a tour of these 4 Trappist Abbeys/breweries yesterday from my house:

had to get home in time for King's day celebrations and ordinary Jupiler lager from plastic glasses... next time I'll be stopping for drinks

  • Ooh, that looks good.

I tried a Caesar Augustus last night, describes itself as a lager / IPA hybrid (lager yeast, IPA hops). Much better than I thought it would be, definitely worth a try if you come across it.

  • Last night, Clown Shoes at Brewdog. It's a barley wine that tastes of butterscotch and toffee. Delicious. And then the Lumberjack Stout. Fuckaduck, it's like engine oil, but absolutely delicious. Kind of a smokey treacle.

  • Garlic and Shots have a shot called Harley-Davidson Oil, it's a blend of JD, Jägermeister and Southern Comfort. It's quite something.

  • I bought 10l of cider from rosies cider farm yesterday, started on it tonight.

5l of rum cask 5l of whisky cask. Could get messy.

  • Shout if you need a hand.

  • Defo. Fancy a shouting at strangers from a park bench sesh?
