Utterly this. Hand pulled in the Bay Horse, Tadcaster, I challenge you to find a better pint anywhere. But generally I don't think it travels well.

Had this little collection to break up an otherwise tedious train journey a week or so back.
Popped a few Greggs mince pies in the hamper too - worked well together.

Boddingtons... from a can! :)
The aim was (new) different beers, after all. Wouldn't want to be labelled a hippycrit now would I?

I like a bit of St Peter's.
Yep. Had the fruit one the other day (which is a bitter ale, with extra grapefruit rind bitterness; no fruit juice).
Tonight I was mostly drinking Brewdog Dead Pony Club. It's the NZ Sauv. Blanc of beers. Dry, with pineapple/passion fruit/ tropical fruit flavours. Amazing.

Can't stand the stuff. It used to be 'ok' when it was on hand pull but now it's on nitrokeg it's undrinkable.
The canned stuff is almost as bad.
Still if Hippy wants to try new stuff he's doing all parts of the spectrum.

you'd better have twelve days from hook norton on your list or i'm gonna hunt you down like the cur you are

I've had Boddingtons before
but I had a can in the fridge from somewhere and thought I should put it out of its misery.

I was late to the game (we moved office - it fucked deliveries) so had to make do with Tesco, my local offie and finally a large Brewdog order to get the calendar items. You're welcome to bring me a bottle... ;)
Just discovered http://www.surlybrewing.com/
Can't wait to try their Steamroller Stout!
