  • Some excellent drinking on this page. I'm loving a cool bottle of this right this minute. Well done, Beavertown.

  • seeing as we've had double stout up thread, slowly ploughing through a case of this nice chocolatey malty twelve days

Twelve Days is lovely. The Kings Head in Oxford had some on tap a while ago, I was very pleased.

I moved house yesterday, gave me a proper thirst. Finished the day with one of these:

Another deliscious brew from Hobsons. Highly recommended!

  • you need to go to the source gridds, plus the cycling around the clee and cleobury area is excellent

  • having a St Peters Cream Stout.
    its rather special.

  • I've just accepted a job at Okell's as a relief manager. I should have my own pub within the next 12 months. Things are finally looking up.

  • Good news!

So true. As long as you like tough, relentless uphill roads. Its hard man country.

But I'd suggest Hobsons is as good a brewer as any I've ever known. Twisted Spire is my favourite brew, but they are all exceptional.

When do I book my boat trip?

  • After my first pay cheque.

Depending on what you think relief means.

  • I didn't even read that bit.. all I saw was "should have my own pub within 12 months" and got moist...

  • I do actually wanna head over at some stage to watch the TT but it's at the wrong time of year for my racing. Maybe when I quit this 24hr TT caper.

  • Whenever you want, doors always open.

  • Possibly famous last words ^^

  • Ta :)

  • Ha, Aussies, just like the irish. All talk.

  • Apparently I'm all shout not all talk.

Living the loud obnoxious stereotype dream, that's me!

  • Whenever you want, doors always open.

    24h license?

  • Yep.

  • BYO midgets

  • I'll play safe and say yes.

  • Piss up time.

  • On a similar note I had a wonderful milk stout last night. 6% but almost forced itself down your neck in one go, amazingly drinkable.

  • Recent, proper beer...

    11.55! Oh my giddy Aunt!

The low one after the half of the above...

Not so good... Just a bitter really.

Redeamed after this one! Nice beer sheepshaggers.

    BTW.

Before any (hashtag:racist) I'm half Welsh, I like Welsh mountains and I love the accent.

Some nice ales some not. They are kidding themselves over the Welsh Whisky thing though.

  • It looks as if quite a lot of beer has swirled around your pint glass lately.
