  • I was explaining it in terms that would be understood by cyclists.

Don't know if you have to do it in one trip. We should do it and find out.

  • It's decent, but pokey. Feels every bit 10%.

  • Exactly my thinking

  • Making my way through the supermarket haul in the way back from Christmas in France. Feels wrong to be able to get 10% bangers for a couple of euros.

  • Got gifted a load of local brews as well so I'm set for a bit.

  • Weather's wank. Having an indoor day.

  • I'm on the unfiltered Stella today.

  • Revealing stuff. Cask is still undervalued, it seems. And Little Earth Project is one of the best brewers in the country, fite me

  • No fighting here. Little Earth Project are excellent!

  • Great fun at the Shirker’s Rest tonight. BBNo takeover and any purchase of one of their beers gets you a game of bagatelle against the brewers with a free can if you win.

  • In Malta for the week, all the beer looks like it was served in a working men's club in the 70s.

  • I was in Malta in 2003 when the referendum result game in for joining the EU (on a university geography field trip). It was a wild festival atmosphere - people driving around on floats blaring out Europe - The Final Countdown and hanging out of blue and yellow rattle-caned bangers with the roofs cut off. We drank A LOT of Cisk that week. Been wanting to go back ever since!

  • Slightly more chilled out in the January off season, but we did walk along the cliff where there was a solitary food van selling cisk and banging out Psytrance at 11am. My 2 and a half year old was loving it!

  • Just had a tin of Putty from Verdant …. seems to be lots of P.R. fuss over a sort of nice but not terribly outstanding DIPA …. are my tastebuds missing something … ?
All the Saint Mars of the Desert beers I bought at the same time much tastier …

  • Every can of it I’ve had has been nice but nothing amazing, maybe on draught it would be nicer… although can’t stomach the 2/3 or 1pint prices.

  • It was nigh on a tenner for a can … ! ‘kin ‘ell …..I was sucked in …. if only there was somewhere nice to have a beer down in South London Town on a Saturday afternoon …. !

  • It’s their answer to dry January and nothing more. Look at the replies to their twitter posts about it in previous years; an embarrassing shit show of pathetic cunts begging pubs to save them a pint of it and asking to have the keg badges. I love that brewery but I’d argue it’s their worst dipa. It actually tastes like it’s stronger than 8% and they usually make their dipas dangerously drinkable because they don’t taste as strong as they are.

  • They actually made stickers this year to pacify the goons who wanted keg badges. They can put their little badge on and wander around like they’ve had a serious head injury and tell people it’s their favourite beer

  • Should of just stuck with London Towns best brewery …. mmmmm. …..
