Discovered a bar with Kasteel Rouge last night. Hanging today.
If there’s a better cherry beer, I’d love to try it.

Boon Kriek?
Kernel Biere de Saison Sour Cherry?
Drie Fonteinen Schaarbeekse Kriek?
Timmermans Kriek?
Cantillon Lou Pepe Pure Kriek
De Cam Oude Kriek?I love a good cherry beer and, for me, the sharper the better.

Of that list I’ve only had Boon Kriek and the Timmermans. I’d have to do a side by side tasting but the Kasteel really hit the spot for me.
I feel a trip to Ghent coming on.

Jubel? (Peach beer)
I quite like it, had a couple on Friday, and an Elderflower one.
Peach was the winner for me. -

Yes that's it. Where'd you find elderflower? I like alederflower by stroud and it's be good to compare.

Is it a strong peach flavour or just an accent on top of a beer taste? Seen the peach and the grapefruit in my sainsburys but not a big fan of beers with fruit from any I’ve had in the past so not bothered to try these ones.

I didn't pay much attention, would guess flavour syrup added, wasn't too overpowering.

If it’s not bad form to quote a quote tweet:
It seems BrewDog is now publicly owned
-
• #11271
According to Wikipedia:
Owned by
James Watt (25%), Martin Dickie (22%), TSG Consumer Partners (22%), other Board members (6%), members of the public (25%)TSG is a private equity firm, I guess the 25% public ownership is their equity for punks thing? Which tends to give shares of lower value than those owned by Watt and Dickie (and probably those owned by TSG).

"Good Ship Brewdog" from the BBC might be worth a listen: https://www.bbc.co.uk/sounds/brand/p0cfkklv

Owned in this context hewing more to the popular internet definition, rather than the literal / legal one
Owned
v. owned, 0wned, pwned, 0wn3d, pwn3d, own3d.
v. tr.
To be made a fool of; To make a fool of; To confound or prove wrong; embarrasing someone: Being embarrased -

Checked out the new Wiper & True taproom in Bristol today. Blown away, easily the best in a town with plenty of great taprooms. Their collab with Arbor is a cut above what both of those breweries usually put out. And Arbor’s latest cold fermented NZ IPA is a stone cold banger, pun intended
It is difficult to keep up. So many craft places have dodgy practices. Google Founders Brewery racism for more.
