Is it vegan? I hope not as I think it sounds great but dangerous 😂

Remember when pubs were a thing? And if you ordered a bitter, you got something very soft, bland, creamy? This is not that bitter. Cloudwater x Burum. Did like.

I have an it was actually kind of a great - shockingly clear flavours on both.

You might need check with Vocation. Can only lists allergens. No lactose and no vegan symbol that i can see so not sure.

It is, Vocation occasionally use lactose and honey but other than that everything is safe for vegans. I can also confirm it is very nice, had to have a lie down afterwards though.

I know 'store cool and drink fresh' will be on all their cans, because hop-forward craft, but for an 11% imperial banger? I wonder if there's any meaningful secondary fermentation in the can.

Yeah, puzzled me. Drink fresh is code for "buy more" no? Like rinse & repeat on shampoo bitd?

My Easter treats from Cloudwater were both terrible.

my continuous improvement was terrible? I had a few last year & enjoyed though was a bit gloopy

I like insane gloopy sweet pastry stouts but these were both just bad beer. White stout just odd white chocolate vanilla flavour in a watery pale puddle of meh. The Impy was the thickest oiliest beer I’ve ever had but just a shit chocolate flavour underpinning it.

Only explanation.

Thanks and thanks @atk it's the lactose I'm concerned about because lactose intolerance. I do drink beer without confirmed vegan status but lactose is rolling the dice.. 😂

TBH the Gris Gris was the winner for me. Such an interesting (and delicious) beer. Might have to buy some more actually.
