Not yet, but I'm on the case with a new bike for it. Perhaps I should change my name to tricitybenchix?
So how long will that take to put together, then? Eight months? Make sure they don't steal all the trends you want to set before it's finished and you then have to panic post pictures again. ;)

Well. that's the nursery thing. I'm not very talkative so it takes me ages to get over it. I think this is actually the last nursery post. Anyway, I'm really looking forward as bike polo is really appealing to me and I've never even seen it before apart from some youtube videos.
Ah of course.
Cool.
it should be obvious who's going to polo from the mallets strapped to their top tubes... but in case it's not, i've got a black holdsworth currently with 1.5 disc wheels, the back one of which is supposed to look like this:

since greasy's going to miss the jump off at trafalgar sq, only those who head to norths will get spoke cards, obviously you'll have to wait for the grease monkey to arrive, hopefully that won't be too painful for you all. Charco's going to get me some more on thursday so will spread the spokecard love to any new and old members who need them from thursday onwards....

Ooh, harsh! It'll probably take me longer than last time, I'm even less able to afford parts than I was before. 3 years approx.

checked the met forecast no rain man, just heavy low clouds,

It turned out to be a perfect evening for cycling. Though we lost a few people heading North, before we even made it out the West End. I think those that came the planned route were pleased to be introduced to Swains lane. I use the word pleased in its loosest sense here

I wanted to make it to trixiedix, but I lost contact on old street and didnt know where the car park is so after 30 mins of looking for it I decided to go home. I'll go next week I was about to watch only anyway.

Had to go to Northampton for a band paractice, then the other guitarist decided he was ill and went home, what a waste of time and money!

Was great to meet people tonight, thanks all for making me feel very welcome. Think I'm getting the hang of this one gear thing, but it's a bit weird tanking it back down the hill when spinning yer legs feels like yer chain's come off. I suppose fixed would let you know it's still there, but I'm not sure whether to add that to the pros or cons.
At least I managed Swains Lane while wondering what all the fuss was about. Actually that's a massive lie. I did manage Swains Lane, but the legs were really damn close to giving up and only sheer bloody mindedness multiplied by peer pressure got me up there. First pint after that was the best I've had in ages.
Same again next week with any luck :)

wilda - really sorry to hear that dude and profuse apologies for losing you. I remember you at Goswell so can't have been too far from the action - not sure what happened - thought we had everyone at all times. Obviously not. Sorry man.
TrixieDix was brilliant - see thread - thirty plus people rolling up to go - then SE with magpie for an after-tricks pint with some beauts.
Thanks all, great to see FE and Rachel in full effect at the King's arms - great to see Peckham (or is it Pirate these days) too.. Pickles, get on witcha bad self! (El Squire - just say no dude...)
looks like I might be grandslamming this week just cos this is turning in to one hell of a week. Corny........ muchos props big man.

The hills are going to kill me when I get back on the bike. Secret training me thinks.
