I'm packing as we speak. (Going straight to gf's house from work tomorrow, and thence to Dunwich.) And for some reason this list has just reminded me to bring my fairy lights! So it did have a use after all.

lick the jelly babies (ass side) then stick them along your top tube in a sort of jelly baby dinner queue...only they're the dinner.....then just peel them off as you ride.

I've brought jelly babies just to try that out.

I'm going to be looking out for people with jelly baby queues along their top tubes. (So that I can ride up alongside them, alert their attention to something non-existent in the hedge, and steal their jelly babies.)

Ooh - I've also found a Soreen loaf left over from 2007. Most of the expiry date's rubbed off - all you can read is 'August'. I'm going to bring it - it might be useful for dares.

In my caffeine addled brain part of me was daring myself to do this, despite having a plane to catch the next day, and some serious packing to do.

But still quite fit, as proved by my not to shabby 10k run yesterday.

Today's lunchtime mission is to find a saddle pack and rechargeable batteries.

I don't own sunglasses. Worth getting some for Sunday?

It's worth it until it gets dark. Then you want to take them off.

They also really help with lounging around on the beach in more comfort.

If you're still on the road as the sun comes up in the east, it obviously helps to have sunglasses as you'll be travelling eastbound.
