  • Is it cheaper than Ribble's offering?

  • FYI SHIM10UK seems to work on some shimano stuff.

  • Thanks all. SHIM10UK isn't working on the whole groupset - the glory days of Ultegra for £424 are over it seems! Will check out Ribble now, might save me a tenner

  • Thanks for saving me posting that.

    These are the DA options..

    11-23T: 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16, (17, 18, 19), (21, 23)
    11-25T: 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16, (17, 19, 21), (23, 25)
    11-28T: 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 17, (19, 21, 23), (25, 28)

    12-25T: 12, 13, 14, 15, 16, 17, (18, 19, 21), (23, 25)
    12-28T: 12, 13, 14, 15, 16, 17, (19, 21, 23), (25, 28)

    12-28 without a doubt.

  • 9000 cassettes received a Shimano stealth "upgrade" in early June that added a second rivet point between the largest cogs and the carbon carrier.

Well, mine's been through National Champ 24, 12 and a bunch of training for them last year and is still going strong enough this year to bust out a 293mi 12hr. I've just bought another one 11-28 though for climbing. What is the extra rivet point for?

  • I posted this somewhere else but didn't have any joy so maybe here someone will know. I've been trying to buy the Ultegra 6800 groupset from pro bike kit with a discount code but none of the codes seem to be working - can anyone confirm if they've had more (or less) luck than i have?

I thought PBK closed down? Am I thinking of another online retailer?

  • 12-28 without a doubt.

Sorry, I wanted the 11 to keep my cadence down for descents.

  • I know dammit has done this with Di2 but will a campag 11 speed cassette work with 6800 mechanical groupset?

  • No. The whole thing will spontaneously combust and Shimano Samurai will hack of the head of the heathen who attempts it.

  • srs? That was my only hope of cheap 11 speed/6800 upgrade without changing wheels .. I guess I'll just ride 6700 into ground.

  • Yeah, totally serious.

    No, of course not.

  • LOL.

I've got a 11sp ultegra cassette on the lemond and my campag record goes up and down it just fine. As well as it would go up and down a campag casette.

    They're totes the same spacing.

  • Jesus wept amey.

  • So, just to be clear, Amey wants to use Campagnolo?

  • I thought PBK closed down? Am I thinking of another online retailer?

    Parker International (RIP) ?

    PBK got sold or something...

  • Ahh that was it. Cheers.

  • So, just to be clear, Amey wants to use Campagnolo?

    added to clipboard for posterity

  • Sorry, I wanted the 11 to keep my cadence down for descents.

    I have 52/38 up front.

I run a 12-27 cassette for mountains, and the 11-25 for coastal stuff. Everyone tells me that 52:11 isnt needed. But I do miss it when n the 12-27. So I see where you're coming from.

But loosing the 16T is a big price. I guess its simply down to 11 vs 16. Which do you want most.

  • So, just to be clear, Amey wants to buy Campagnolo, not use and sell 2 months later?

    probably

  • oof

  • So, just to be clear, Amey wants to use Campagnolo?

Because it hasn't been quoted for 15 minutes.

  • I know dammit has done this with Di2 but will a campag 11 speed cassette work with 6800 mechanical groupset?

  • Chris King classic and Campa
