Do you have to really spend £2k on a coat just to prove to your wife that you love her? Unstable relationship i guess. Two houses? One for the boyfriend, one for the misses? Islington? Pfft, its all about waking up and looking out to sea on the south coast!

It's still not worth £800 - I have a Watanabe NJS frame with Sugino 75's, Nitto stem seatpost risers, Paul Component/Araya wheels, Hatta Swan headset etc and I'd be looking for no more than £700 IF I was to sell it

TBH I've just bought the last part for my Bob Jackson, and realised the build has cost me a total of £1k. I am in the depths of PBG (post build guilt), and may be over compensating.

But if the frame is worth = 300, and the wheels = 200, DA drivechain = 150, and finishing kit = 150. You get 800 (unbuilt).

This is nothing but a blind guess though. That frame could be £50 for all I know.

getting the calculator out and adding up what seems like a never ending list of invoices and bills
but then 10 mins later flying through loverly london you know it was all worth it
come on admit it you'd do it again in a heartbeat !

Have already started building the next bike (SS MTN 29r). So defo no regrets there. Just a bit shocked at how the budget took off.
