The numbers don't add up unfortunately. Even if you sold a total of 25 bikes last year and made £500.00 on each (highly unlikely) that would still only give you a total of £12,500*

*profit remember, not turnover.

Lets say you sold a load of bike bits and pieces as well and made 50% mark up(probably not though) on each. and made 10k profit after tax etc thats still only £22,500 take away old minky and your left with £20.5k. Not exactly mega bucks is it.

I just don't understand how you can say one thing "being shrewd" yet in the next breath tell it how it is.

You sell a few bikes. Good on you so do quite a few people on here.
But its not a great business enterprise. It allows someone to make a little money from what they enjoy.

You do not know me and for those that do,well you know how long i've been around. The only thing I am new to is this shit fucking forum that has never made me a penny.I have been earning a living off of bikes now for 7 years,last year alone I sold a total of 25 bikes 10 of which went to Denmark,and now I am credited for playing a big part in that fix scene. Ebay is where I earn most of my £££,but I also do alot of private sales.I am sure alot of you have seen my previous builds,and I admit they are a bit to much for you forum guys.Now go away and total the value of this bike, parts alone, and see if you could sell this bike complete as it is for £800.00,and earn yourself a profit on top.Well ask Max I am sure he will agree that is outstanding value for £££££. TBH if the frame is a decent one, and you put some track bars on it. I'd really rate it, and dont really see £800 (if that is the price) as an unfair price.
I've managed to hit £1000 building my Bob Jackson, so it does'nt sound unreasonable at all, to me (if thats DA its wearing).

Familier colour scheme though.
