OOL, jealousy gets you nowhere. Besides, they probably were'nt made up properly as they're just display....
Fuck me, I can't believe I'm actually giving him my time..........?!

Irreparable.

i have no idea what the fuck is even going on in this thread. From what i can gather someone is starting a new brand called 14.co and they want to take over the fixed wheel scene. they want to sell 14 bikes a week. that all i can make out. the rest is just confusing me

Thats them, please have a look at what's wrong in the pics,ie.flat tyres and slack chains. What can't be seen is the headsets that were'nt completely pressed and the Miche bottom brackets that were not fully fitted, and not to mention the price tag of these steeds,as they stand in the pics £1000.00,and look, full Miche components WOW.Is it me or do these have an amazing resemblance to a uni-pack.
i cant tell are you with or against this business venture?
-
• #132
Would it not be more profitable to your business to concentrate on you own product, instead of knocking somebody elses.
I had, until now never heard of 14 Bike Co.
Any publicity is good publicity! -
• #133
No but they look like something anyone could knock up in an hour. If it's that easy I might start having a go at this customisation lark for a profit...But I'd make them 5x better
Surely you would need to make them 14X better?

If you haven't got anything nice to say, don't say anything at all.
Alternatively put up or shut up; build a better frame and assemble it with higher spec components, that looks great for less than £1000 and maybe you will have something worth talking about.

Platini, fuck off you sad, sad boring twat! Who the fuck are you anyway? Some silly old duffer who lives in Chester, probably single(divorced), who spends 23hrs a day on a London based bike forum, taking the piss out of scousers and posting 99% shite that has no relation to bikes!
Fuck off you horrible cunt!!

You're right - it's uncanny. Two wheels; a saddle; some peddles; a chain; handlebars. Unipack should sue.
You wonder why they bothered to make their own frame. I mean, they could have just bought a Giant Bowery and changed the stickers. Job done.

• #140
Slack chain.
-
• #141
When I was in the shop an enquired about them the frames were just over £400 and the built bikes were more like £750 I believe. But maybe I was informed wrongly.
And having a flat hardly makes the frame a piece of shit does it now? Just makes the tyre flat.
But I might be confused. This thread is over my head. Afterall its much more complex then all other threads. Because its got, ummmmmmm. Sorry, what does it have that makes it more high brow then any other thread?

Its either sponsored by Specialized or the campaign for plain English.
It could also be one of those "if you have to ask" type scenarios, I'm with you though.

Only picture I could find from when Aleksi and I went to TFG when Alex was interested in one of the 14 bikes. The lightning blue one is by them, not certain if the white was or not.
Would not touch them with a barge pole.

Would not touch them with a barge pole.
Much easier to do that when the bike is already by a canal

"CRANK & CHAINRING(47 TOOTH) SUGINO 75(NJS)£210.00"So OOL is just another muppet jumping on 'the scene' trying to mug hipsters!?

Coincidence, I think not.
I am wondering whether I should I go into detail about 14's thoughts on FGLDN, which were of a mocking nature before they came crawling to you lot.
Well maybe not, I will just have a giggle to myself regarding some of the comments your pals over at 14&co said about your bikes.
However Andy you guys are cool with me, you have helped me out on quite a few things and I do appreciate it, please witness that I can give respect where it is due.
As for you forum bum's looking for a rise this thread is over your heads, over your heads."How did I do?
