  • Wycombe high girls aren't that easy. i only ever shagged one, i think.

    oh no, two, in fact.

same here actually. lots of stories though.

  • I spent 18 of my first 20 years on the planet in Aylesbury and I'm now 36 and can count on my fingers the number of times I've been back since leaving.

  • yeah, aylesbury sucks a fat one.

  • I love Buckinghamshire ( about from all the conservative twats who seem to live there ). Went to uni in Chalfont st Giles and High Wycombe. Lived in Amersham, Chorley Wood, Chalfont St Peters. Went to the Magistrates Court in Beaconsfield after I got busted with 5 skunk plants in my room in the first year. I have put together a route that I intent to do over the summer taking in all my old haunts, including some pretty steep hills

  • live in wycombe, work in naphill.

ss not fixed, only commute on the black stuff - the trails are too good to ignore round here.

Finally.. someone talking about places I've actually heard of! Praise be our lord tynan and the poo-stained bike of the resurrection, humbly.

  • I grew up in Chalfont St Peter.

    It's fucking boring.

Although a nice place to grow up when you're a nipper, woods to run around in and so on. It's a bit commuter hell these days though.

  • i went to chalfont st peter middle school.

  • Sometimes I can't believe all those places like Chalfont St Giles are technically in the same county as where I'm from (MK). Commuter hell indeed. Depends what you think of as hell - down there always seems dead posh to me. Surely South Bucks is commuter heaven? Like Gloucestershire is to the huntin' set!

  • @ Superprecise - ME TOO! A long time ago though, probably 1979-1983

It's like Friends Reunited and everything.

    @ Skully - MK? Explains a few things... :p
It is pretty posh. Unluckily for me, I'm the poor kid from the posh area.

  • and which secondary school sano?

  • Not Old Jobes. Although my house was right near it.

I went to school at Chesham High

  • Born and bread just a stones throw from Aylesbury, +1 shit hole but now have now escaped to York for Uni, had no idea so many forum members were from Bucks

  • MK says a lot about you too, I've seen the grafitti on the bus station lavs.

I was a village kid that a city just landed on in about 1980. Bloody shite. Whenever I'm South I think it all looks lovely. I'm always thinking there's some tasty arts n crafts houses behind those mahoosive Rhodedendron hedges.

this is similar to me too, the village i was brought up in hasn't been swallowed up yet by MK but is nearly there. Aint been back up there in a while even though my Mum lives in Buckingham town. South bucks has some nice places.

    lemme guess: Whaddon?

  • gotta add myself to this illustrious list , grew up just outside High Wycombe in Prestwood and then Great Kingshill in between Amersham and Wycombe, can remember cycling up those large chiltern hills at 9, paperboy later too, grindin'

used to go to MK to skate, the only thing that industrial swamp is good for.

  • I live inbetween Berkhamsted and Chesham, I got my kicks down at the dips in Aldbury. We used to loose consistantly agaist RGS High Wycomb at every sport, year on year.

Jonny, we should have done those welsh hikes on bikes.

  • can't believe how many people on here are form bucks..

i grew up just outside aylesbury but haven't actually gone back in about 4 years.. is there anyone on here who went to aylesbury grammar?

Best thing to do there as a teenager, apart from LSD and fingering girls in bus stops.

  • MK boys do it with style!

  • Skully that is hilarious!!! Kinda reminds me of my childhood! :)
